I have Carbonite. Does Carbonite actually back up the whole program. If the computer totally died, would Carbonite have the entire software program to install it on a new computer or is it just backingup up the files?
I put my ACT! files on a memory stick and realized that downloading the files to an extra computer didn’t work as the program hadn’t been installed on that computer.

Would the same thing happen with Carbonite in that I would get the files back but I couldn’t open the contact list, etc. because the software needed to be installed first on the new computer?
