Tony! You just started following me on Twitter (thanks for that) and you wonder if you should upgrade? The Web Info tab with the Social Media integration should be tipping the scale to YES!

That and the totally customizable sales opportunity function. You know how Contacts, Companies and Groups are ACT! entities that can be completely customized? Add custom fields, change where the fields appear on the screen, etc.? Now imagine the same thing for Opportunities. It's awesome.

Here is a link to a an ACT! eNews article where I talk about using the ACT! 2010 Web Info tab to build relationships: http://community.act.com/sage/board/message?board.id=news&message.id=48#M48

Here is a link to a guest blog gig on the cool new Sales Opportunities functions:http://community.act.com/t5/The-ACT-by-Sage-Journal/Sales-Opportunities-Get-quot-Real-quot-with-ACT-2010/ba-p/53856

And, if you are on any version older than ACT! 2008, then the direct Outlook integration is another key reason.

Having said all that, we definitely advise our customers to think long and hard about the upgrade and really weigh the benefits vs. cost. Here is a link to my blog where I discussed that very topic recently: http://www.po3inc.com/blog/2009/08/act-2010-the-upgrade-question/

Thanks for listening!
